The Tender Trap
One is a lonely number. If, and when, anyone finds themselves in a situation where they are alone and weak, temptation has a possible ground to lure them to try the forbidden fruit of sexual promiscuity along with the use of stimulating Drug abuse. This is the story of a man who fell victim to the vices of both these things, Sex and Drugs. The story also tells of his recovery from the use and involvement with both of them.

One is too many and a thousand is not enough. Anyone who is a drug user knows what this statement means. This book is written to help those who have either hit their bottom and realize there is no way but up and are sick and tired of being sick and tired, not to mention broke busted and disgusted with themselves, and also for the parents and loved ones of people who are caught in the muck and mire of the disease of addiction to understand that addiction is a sickness and that it is curable by understanding, love and patience. Remember, addiction does not happen all of a sudden, and it cannot be cured all of a sudden. Ultimately, the choice is yours as to whether you want to grab hold of the few words that I write and use them to your advantage or let them fly, like the wind never to be thought of anymore. I pray fervently for those who want the redeeming life that I have found in my higher power who returned me to sanity because of my submission to Him and His Grace. His name is Jesus, for it is only by His Grace that I was saved and I am able to write this message for you, you, and you.

Greetings and Salutations.
My desire is to help as many people that I can. During my journey in the underworld of addiction and self deprivation, I realized that I was the only one who cared about my well-being and health. Little did I know that the myriad of drugs that I consumed would take my life and leave me alone, unwanted, and without any opportunities to claim the wonderful and beautiful things that God has prepared for me.
To give you an understanding of my background, I have been immersed in the art of hair culture ever since my child hood. My family owned a barber shop and I was trained as a barber and I achieved my Master Barber License at the age of 18. After working in the industry for a few years, I went to the Arthur Angelo School of Cosmetology and Advanced Hair Design. I graduated in 1995 and went to work at one of the leading salons in Providence, RI. Many years went by and my interests grew as I learned more about my industry and gained in my ability to serve. The opportunity for me to go to Atlanta Georgia to study at the Jamison Shaw Academy, came up, and I received my certificate as a Certified French Hair Cutting Specialist.
After working several years in Providence, RI, at a top notch salon by the name of Sondra's Total Concept Salon, I was hired to be on staff at The Norwich Spa at Foxwoods Resort and Casinos. The skills that I brought to the Norwich Spa at Foxwoods Resort and Casinos as well as Details Hair Studio in Norwich CT, which is another salon that I worked at after Covid-19 ran rapid, range from Barbering, Hair Stylist, Hair Colorist, Certified Balayage Master, Certified Surface Curls Stylist, Certified Surface Core Cutting Stylist. Certified Surface Color Artist, Certified REF Color Specialist, Hair Relaxer Specialist.
Although I have listed several of my accomplishments, the one I am most proud of is my love for hair styling, as well as, the pleasure I receive from seeing the smile on my client’s faces when they see and appreciate the work that was done to make and enhance their natural beauty and handsomeness.
Now that I have retired from being a Hair Stylist, I am conscientiously involved in trying to help and motivate people who are traveling on the path that I traveled. I implore you to heed my words of wisdom and live up to your potentials without the use of mind altering drugs.
